ANGELA “ANGIE” LYNETTE BOLTON
Angie Lynette Bolton, 51, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 28, 2026. Born on December 28, 1974, she was the cherished daughter of Cecil Bolton and Isabella Roberts Jennings. A proud graduate of Tennessee Tech University, Angie devoted her life to education as a teacher within the Hamilton County School System. Her passion for learning and her deep love for children shaped every classroom she entered. Angie’s students were more than pupils to her—they were part of her heart, and she poured her energy, patience, and joy into helping them grow. Angie’s life was marked by kindness, compassion, and a genuine love for people. She adored her church community, found joy in every animal she encountered, and carried a gentle spirit that made others feel welcomed and valued. Her enthusiasm for teaching, her devotion to her students, and her warm, people‑oriented nature touched countless lives. Above all, Angie treasured her family. Time spent with them was her greatest happiness, and she embraced every moment with love, laughter, and gratitude. Angie leaves behind a legacy of faith, generosity, and unwavering love. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her impact will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Angie is preceded in death by her father, Cecil Bolton; mother, Isabella Roberts Jennings; and sister-in-law, Joy Bolton.
Left to cherish her memories are her stepfather, Harold Jennings; son, Benjamin Matthew Reed; brother, Troy Bolton; sister, Vanessa Sharp; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation is Monday, February 2, 2026, from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
Funeral services are on Monday, February 2, 2026, in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee at 3:00 pm CST with Reverend Aaron Cagle and Reverend Jim Richardson officiating.
Angie will be laid to rest on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.
Pallbearers are Andrew Bolton, Kyle Sharp, Dayne Grider, Ethan Grider, Ronnie Wilson and Troy Bolton.
