MICHAEL ERNEST MCCLAIN

Michael Ernest McClain, 57, of Kimball, Tennessee was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 3, 2024.  On January 10, 1967, he was born to the late Roy Ernest McClain and Linda Click Stephens.  Michael served in the United States Army for twenty-four years, five years of that was overseas, and then he served as a recruiter.  He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed mechanical work such as rebuilding motors.   Michael loved spending time with his family, driving back roads as well as cooking and grilling.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Roy Ernest McClain; stepmother, Brenda Baker McClain; grandparents, Walter and Bonnie McClain and George and Lillian Click.

Left to cherish his memories are his stepfather, Ray Stephens; mother, Linda Click Stephens; daughter, Destiny (Avery) Brown; brother, Kenneth (Megan) McClain; sisters Sharon (Andrew) Hutchinson, Renee Miller, Angie (Willard) Perryman; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Visitation is Friday, April 5, 2024, from 11:00 am CST (12:00 ET) to 1:00 pm CST (2:00 pm ET) at Tate Funeral home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 1:00 pm CST (2:00 pm ET) in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Dan Hall officiating.

There will be an Honor Ceremony presented by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard at the funeral Home.

Michael will be laid to rest on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Ethan Wattenbarger, Steve Click, Lebron Click, Craig McClain, Allan Wilson, Grayson Cleveland and Jeff Taylor.
