JIMMY "BONES" DEWAYNE SMITH

Jimmy "Bones" Dewayne Smith, 55, of Whiteside, Tennessee was called home on Friday, February 23, 2024.  On July 3, 1968, he was born to the late Thomas Glenn Smith and Gail Caylor Isbell.  Jimmy worked for Berry Hutton Construction Company and was of the Baptist faith.  He was a very hard worker and enjoyed football, loved Nascar and spending time with his children and grandchildren.        

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Glenn Smith; grandfather, Thomas Bud Smith; grandmother, Mary Glenn Smith and brother, Terry Smith.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Gale Caylor Isbell; daughters, Cariena (Jackie) Smith, Ashley Campbell, brothers, Jerry (Misty) Smith, Danny Isbell; sisters, Sierra Hicks, Kathy Frizzell; grandchildren, Brentley, Jaxxn, Carliee, Jaycee Perry, Kenley Wilson; friends, Chasity Perry, Angela Simpson; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

Visitation is Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm CT and on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CT at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.

Funeral services are on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 1:00 pm CT in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.

Jimmy will be laid to rest on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Gilliam Cemetery in South Pittsburg, Tennessee (Battle creek) immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Steve Mines, Jackie Perry, Bill Caylor, Wade Graham, Hunter Graham and Randy Hunter.
