ALBERT “WAYNE” SMITH

Albert “Wayne” Smith, 75, of Sequatchie, Tennessee was called home on March 29, 2024.  On December 18, 1948, he was born to the late Thomas “Bud” Smith and Mary Glenn Phillips. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army.   Wayne was married to Barbara Duckett Smith before her death.  He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for TVA before retiring.   Wayne enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife, college football especially Georgia and Tennessee, and enjoyed Nascar.  He loved his dog Gypsy and spending time with his family.

Wayne is preceded in death by his father, Thomas “Bud” Smith; mother, Mary Glenn Phillips Smith and wife, Barbara Duckett Smith; son, Thomas Smith and brother, Thomas Glenn Smith.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Jeff (Amy) Smith; brother, Phillip (Debbie) Smith; sister, Wanda Ables; grandson, Justin Smith; two great grandchildren, Hailee and Norah Smith, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

There will be no service at this time.
